Mental and Psychological History: Due to being kidnapped as a baby by Madame Kovarian, River suffers from C-PTSD and anxiety.
Treatment for Health and Mental Issues: River does everything not to look back, to stay in the current moment. She probably should be in some form of therapy, but she isn’t. It is with this in mind, she keeps the mindset: Be happy, and fuck everyone and every else. If they are meant to be in her life, they'll support her.

Relationships My River Has
The Eleventh Doctor: This was the regeneration she married and the one she killed. She loves him dearly. She affectionately calls him "husband". This is who she spends most of her time with.
The Mistress “Missy”: Missy and River have an extremely intense, often murder-esque relationship. One could call them frenemies. Missy is River’s first wife, and she is not above giving people to Missy’s more psychotic nature when they attempt to threaten her or the Doctor.
The Rani: Her second wife. A relationship built on "Co-Parenting" The Master and The Doctor. Although their relationship is filled with sarcasm, their marriage is true. There is very little they woudn't do for each other
Amy Pond: Her mother, she takes after her in the sass and being stubborn.
Rory Williams: Her father, she takes after him in devotion and undying love.
The Master: River often finds any regeneration of the Master other than Missy annoying and distasteful. In part, this is because she has a secret soft spot for Missy, but also because all-male versions of the Master are, in her opinion, “Dicks”. She does like teasing them that she got the Doctor first. Brief BackgroundRiver Song, the primary alias of the third known incarnation of Melody Pond, was a "child of the TARDIS" and a wife of the Doctor. She was human with Time Lord characteristics, conceived by her parents, aboard the TARDIS as it traveled through the Time Vortex and conditioned by the Silence. This gave her great strength, the ability to regenerate, and a great understanding of the complex principles of time and space. She loved the Doctor and shared a long-lasting relationship with him. River was one of the very few people who knew the Doctor's true name.As an infant, Melody was stolen from her parents by Madame Kovarian to become a weapon of the Silence in their war against the Doctor. After her second regeneration, she killed the Eleventh Doctor but then broke her mental conditioning to give her remaining regenerations to revive his corpse.The Doctor and her parents left her to make her way into the universe. With no connection to her family or the Silence, River became an archaeologist to track the Doctor through time. She crossed the Doctor's path on several occasions, generally with the result that she was meeting him at progressively earlier points in his time stream. Hoping to avoid temporal paradoxes, the Doctor gave her a diary to keep track of their meetings and prevent her from revealing "spoilers" to him about his future. It is in within her travels, that she meets Missy and Rani and marries them. She also finds her biological sisters and brothers and attempts to rescue them. (Please see TDORS 3x1 to 3x4)
Again forced by the Silence, she made a second attempt on the Eleventh Doctor's life. Though unsuccessful, she was convicted of his murder and spent many years in Stormcage Containment Facility for it — apparently to convince the universe that the Doctor was dead. This confinement was made more bearable by frequently escaping to go out on dates with the Doctor. She was eventually pardoned because there was no evidence that the Doctor ever existed and became a Professor of Archaeology.She finally spent many years with the Twelfth Doctor before going back in time to save the Tenth Doctor. At the time, she had assumed that sacrifice would be the end of her life. She, however, had more regenerations than she had previously believed. This was, however, not found out until after Trenzalore. Upon returning to the data core, River went a little insane. She was causing harm to the system and Cal kicked her out, back into her body. She yearned for murder and blood for many years and it was until the Eleventh Doctor found her again that she came back to herself. Finally returning to be the Doctor's wife.

~According to what research I've done, RIVER IS A SOCIOPATH, NOT A PYSCHOPATH. River is able to feel empathy and remorse and have lasting bonds, thus making her a sociopath.
~River is on what she believes her last regeneration, but she can not be sure, as she thought this before her last “Death.”
~River desires children with the Doctor. However, she has never found the right time to tell him. In all storylines, she has adopted a andoid she saved, named Rachel. (Please see TDORS 2x2, 8x1 and 8x2). She has also adopted a little girl with Missy, they named Barrelene Kiaran Song.
~River is extraordinarily stubborn, sometimes to the point that it puts her life and those around her in danger.
~Madame Kovarian emotionally and physically abused River until she was able to escape.
~River is the reason why her parents are a couple as she pushed them to be one as her second regeneration.
~River is deadly accurate with guns. She can also hold her own in hand-to-hand combat. If she's meaning to kill you, she will. She never misses.
~Due to her past, River has a slight sociopathic streak and it comes out in the most unexpected way. Missy and Rani encourage her dangerous wild side, while the Doctor calms and soothes her.
~Both Missy and Rani can calm River down, on the chance she goes too far. Each with their own individal methods.
~River thinks the bow ties, fezzes, and velvet coats are fashion treason, but she tends to allow the Doctor to wear them because it makes him happy.
~River has an extremely high libido.
~River's master's degrees in Engineering, Psychology, Nursing, and History were to advance her knowledge during her travels and to help protect her. However, the Master's in Creative Writing was one she did purely for fun.
~River knows the Doctor's, Missy's and Rani's real names and it's her most prized secret. This will be something she will never reveal. However, in their private moments, she does call them by their real name.
~ While she knows she is safe with the Doctor, River never truly relaxes with him. When he didn't know who she was the doctor caused a lot of mental damage to River. River loves the Doctor and she always will but I don't think he has ever seen her complete self.
~River is at her complete, most relaxed self with Missy and Rani. There is a very unique bond there one based on love for the doctor, one on mutual trauma, and in the end love for each other.
~River is and will never be a polite good girl. She does not say please or beg. River is very much an anti-hero with some morals but do NOT expect her to be Good. You will be severely disappointed.
~River was pregnant, in the Impossible Astronaut episode. She, however, miscarried while on the run from the Silence.
~River has NO biological children.
~River has married herself on every planet she can.
~ When River is quiet, run. Just let her be. You can get her Missy or Rani but otherwise leave her alone.
~ River has violent nightmares and after these, she has to say a mantra to calm herself down and not allow herself to slip back into her brainwashed self.

~ The 11th Doctor is the Doctor River feels the safest with. it's the first face she saw when she regenerate. She is, in her way, bound to the 11th Doctor
